Season for Lobuche Peak Climbing:
April and May and from September to November months of the year, best for climb and trek to the summit of Lobuche East Peak, April and May most days are clear for views of mountains and pleasant walk and climb with longer sunlight hours due to spring season.
When wildflowers especially rhododendron and magnolia in bloom around forested areas around walks to Namche till Tengboche Monastery on route Everest base camp and towards Lobuche Peak.
Another best month September to November although morning and night time much colder with freezing temperatures around the higher area, one can enjoy a fine clear day where sunlight hours are much short due to autumn/fall season.
Introduction:
Lobuche Peak climb takes you around high Khumbu valley and upper ridges, allowing climbers with much acclimatization and spare days for practice climb before the actual final climb to the summit of Lobuche Peak.
Lobuche Peak stands at the height of 6,119m and 20,070 ft high close to its sister West Lobuche Peak at a mere distance, where most of the climb takes you to Lobuche East Peak summit, much accessible and shorter days.
Lobuche Peak located on route Lobuche settlement and towards Everest base camp, on this adventure combining with a walk to Everest base camp and climb of Kalapathar hilltop that supports you with more acclimatization as well keeping you fit for the climb to Lobuche Peak.
The route to Lobuche Peak leads on the same main trail from Lukla to Everest base camp, walking past many interesting villages Phakding, Monjo and entering Sagarmatha national park to reach a large village or a town at Namche Bazaar.
On walks facing wonderful views of peaks and into the serene cool coniferous forest, Namche Bazaar a perfect spot for rest days where one can hike to some view-points to catch more scenic views of Everest, Amadablam and other range of peaks.
From Namche heading higher to reach a beautiful spot in Tengboche and the monastery encircled by snow-clad peaks with views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam and series of mountains within nice forest surroundings.
After Tengboche on the high trails where tree lines fade for smaller alpine bushes to reach the scenic valley of Imjatse at Dingboche located in the midst of mountains and behind North Face of Amadablam with views of famous Island Peak.
Enjoying pleasant rest days at Dingboche where the adventure takes you on the foot of Mt. Everest within massive Khumbu-Icefall and glaciers with a steep climb on top Kalapathar for an excellent panorama of mountains with closest views of Everest and Mt. Pumori.
Finally, our real adventure begins from here after getting much acclimatize visiting around the best scenic sides of Khumbu, where walk leads to the far corner and away from the main path at Lobuche East base camp.
With enough time for practice and to study the route of the climb, then heading for the final ascent to reach on top Lobuche Peak facing outmost views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Amadablam, Cho-Oyu and range of mountains that surround the high top of Lobuche Peak.
After a hard struggle to the top enjoying marvelous views descend safely to base camp for the onward return journey back to Lukla and then fly to land in Kathmandu, with everlasting memories and experience on Lobuche Peak Climbing.
Short Outline Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu via various airlines and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with a sightseeing tour and trek preparation.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m and trek to Phakding 2,640 m – 04 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 05 hrs.
Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 06: Trek to Tengboche 3,867 m – 05 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche 4,260 m – 05hrs.
Day 08: Rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 09: Trek to Lobuche 4,890 m – 05 hrs.
Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp 5,364 m and back at Gorakshep 5, 180 m – 06 hrs.
Day 11: Morning climb Kalapathar 5,545 m trek to Lobuche East base camp 4,670 m.
Day 12: Climb and set High Camp at 5,400 m / 17,712 ft -04 hrs practice climb.
Day 13: Climb Lobuche East peak and back to Base Camp – 08 hrs.
Day 14: Reserve and contingency day in case of bad weather on the climb.
Day 15: Trek to Tengboche – 06 hrs.
Day 16: Trek to Monjo 2,875 m via Namche and transfer to lodge – 06hrs.
Day 17: Trek to Lukla and transfer to lodge – 04 hrs.
Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel with afternoon free at leisure.
Day 19: Spare and contingency day in Kathmandu in case of flight delay and cancellation.
Day 20: International departure to respective countries homeward bound.

- Emergency Evacuation by any means of Transportations and personal medical kit.
- Early return from the trips or breaking up the journey due to personal/medical reason clients has to bear extra expenses in Kathmandu or on route with related expenses as there will be no refund from the company in such situation.
