Season for Island Peak Climbing:
March to May and from September to December months of the year, the best time for climb and trek to the summit of Island Peak, March to May most days are clear for views of mountains and pleasant walk and climb with longer sunlight hours due to spring season.
When wildflowers especially rhododendron and magnolia in bloom around forested areas around walks to Namche till Tengboche Monastery on route Everest base camp and towards Island Peak.
Another best month September to December although morning and night time much colder with freezing temperatures around the higher area but one can enjoy a fine clear day where sunlight hours are much short due to autumn/fall with pre-winter seasons.

Island Peak Climb probably one of the most famous, popular and scenic adventures in all Himalaya region, where interested and keen adventurer enjoys more experience on Island Peak that any other mountains.
Island Peak also known as Imjatse Himal rises at the height of 6,160m/20,205 ft, offers exciting climbing adventure and much accessible than other peaks of the Himalaya range, where on this trek and climb spending overnights in a nice and cozy lodge, with only few nights in tents.
Due to its easy and reachable location, where trekkers does not need much camping gear than other trekking peaks of Nepal, the last comfort in a lodge at Chukung at the end of Imjatse valley the gateway to Island Peak base camp and for the climb.
Island Peak Climb starts from Lukla town after a sweeping flight then heading on main routes for some days past nice lovely villages on pleasant path crossing few bridges over the same river Dudh Kosi and climb to famous Namche Bazaar.
At Namche with acclimatization days with a side hike to scenic views points to witness scenery of surrounding beautiful landscapes with the panorama of Everest and other high mountains including magnificent Amadablam.
From Namche on scenic trail with the climb to Tengboche located on a wonderful spot with impressive colorful monastery surrounded by high snow-capped peaks within serene woodland facing views of Everest and range of peaks.
After Tengboche heading into high valley of Imjatse to reach Dingboche a nice settlement with grand views of Amadablam North Face and Island Peak towards the east end of the valley rim, where trek takes you on the foot of Island Peak for the adventure climb.
Spending few overnights in camping and with preparations for the climb then as the fine clear weather allows where route of the climb takes you over ice, moraine and ice with steep up facing some technical sections to reach the summit of Island Peak.
On reaching the top enjoy the fantastic panorama of white snow-capped mountains that surrounds you at the summit with close views of Amadablam, Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse with Makalu includes an array of peaks.
An ever-exciting climb with an experience of a lifetime, return journey on the same scenic route back to Namche unto Lukla for last overnight stop around high Khumbu and Everest region, where panoramic flight brings you at Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu via various airlines and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with a sightseeing tour and trek preparation.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m and trek to Phakding 2,640 m – 04 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 05 hrs.
Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 06: Trek to Tengboche 3,867 m – 05 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche 4,260 m – 05hrs.
Day 08: Rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 09: Trek to Chukung 4,740 m – 04 hrs.
Day 10: Trek to Island Peak base camp overnight in tented camps 4,970 m – 04 hrs.
Day 11: Trek Island Peak High / Advance Camp 5,400 m – 04 hrs.
Day 12: Rest day to explore and study the route of the climb.
Day 13: Climb Island Peak 6,160 m high and return to base camp – 08 hrs.
Day 14: Contingency day in case of bad and unfavorable weather condition.
Day 15: Trek to Pangboche 3,900 m – 06 hrs.
Day 16: Trek to Namche Bazaar – 06 hrs walks.
Day 17: Trek to Lukla – 06 hrs.
Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel with afternoon free at leisure.
Day 19: Spare and contingency day in Kathmandu in case of flight delay and cancellation.
Day 20: International departure to respective countries homeward bound.

- Early return from the trips or breaking up the journey due to personal/medical reason clients have to bear extra expenses in Kathmandu or on route with related expenses as there will be no refund from the company in such a situation.
